How to Increase ID Proof on Onlinejobs.ph to 99

When I first created my account on Onlinejobs.ph, I was very excited to start my online job hunt. But I was suddenly stopped from applying by this message “You don’t have enough ID Proof.” If you’re here, you probably encountered the same. But what exactly is ID proof?

ID proof is a system within Onlinejobs.ph (OLJ) that was created to help employers determine if a job seeker is a real person or not. ID proof is shown as a number, from 0 to 100, with 100 being the highest.

By increasing your ID proof on Onlinejobs.ph, your potential employers will be able to tell that your application is genuine and it will therefore increase your chances of getting hiredYou’ll also be able to earn crucial Onlinejobs.ph Apply Points after you have been verified.

Lastly, ID Proof is also an essential part of your professional profile on Onlinejobs.ph so you shouldn’t ignore it. You should aim for an ID proof from 80 to 100. You don’t have to get a perfect 100 to get clients, so just get it as high as you can.

In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how you can do just that.

1. Verify Your Email

Verifying your email is easy. You should have received an email from Onlinejobs.ph after you finished registering as a jobseeker on their website.

They have very detailed instructions about the requirements of uploading an ID for Onlinejobs.ph so make sure to follow them carefully.

Please note that the ID you upload must have your name, picture, and signature. Onlinejobs.ph will only accept the following government-issued IDs:

  • UMID
  • Driver’s License
  • Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
  • Passport
  • Senior Citizen ID
  • SSS ID
  • COMELEC / Voter’s ID
  • Philippine Identification (PhilID)

  • Bank Statements

Your document must show your billing address with your name on it. Alternatively,  if you are living with a relative and you are using their document to show proof of address, then you must have the same last name.

Just like the ID verification, verifying your address also takes two to three business days. It’s a good idea to do them at the same time so you don’t wait for more than necessary.

While waiting for your ID proof verification, you should get your essential work from home equipment ready.

A common mistake most beginners make is not considering the toll of long working hours in front of a computer on the body. It’s a mistake I also made when I was starting out.

I totally understand that beginners may not have the budget for all the big WFH equipment yet. So at the very least, I recommend getting a laptop stand for your work station.

A laptop stand is cheap (usually around ₱200 ) but very helpful. Once properly adjusted, a laptop stand helps prevent pain in your wrists, neck, and back.

The one I use personally is the MAIA Aluminium Alloy Laptop Stand. It’s easy to set up anywhere and is quite compact. So, I can bring it even while working outside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to upload your ID on Onlinejobs.ph?

According to Onlinejobs.ph, your ID will only be used for identity verification purposes and OLJ will not share your personal information with others.

Once your identity has been verified, your ID proof will increase. This is a numeral indicator that ensures potential employers that you are who you say you are. So, you have a higher chance of landing an online job.

However, there may be some data that OLJ shares that you might be uncomfortable with. I urge you to check their background data check example page before you go through the ID proof verification process. There, you can see what OLJ shows employers on their platform.

I am personally not comfortable sharing my address and phone number unless I was already hired by the company. However, it seems to be unavoidable if you want to use Onlinejobs.ph to apply for work.

Why does my profile on Onlinejobs.ph show only 50 ID proof?

If you have just submitted your ID and other information for verification, then it will take a bit more time for your ID proof to increase.

There are only two methods to increase your ID proof on Onlinejobs.ph that happen instantly. The first one is verifying your email and the second one is verifying your mobile number.

The others will have to go through a manual verification process by the OLJ team. This can take a few days to complete. So, you’ll have to wait for a bit for your ID proof to increase further.

How long is the ID verification process on Onlinejobs.ph?

It will take 2 to 3 working days for your ID to be verified so that your ID proof will increase. But I’ve seen cases where it took as short as 1 day or as long as 1 week.

If your Onlinejobs.ph ID verification is taking too long, don’t hesitate to contact their support team through OLJ’s Facebook page or by emailing them at support@Onlinejobs.ph.

If you are in a rush, you should  by verify your email, home address, and mobile number all at the same time to decrease the waiting time.

You can still make the most out of your time while waiting. Start by researching job posts and updating your resume based on the work’s requirements.

You might have heard this before “The more applications you send, the more chances of winning”. From my experience, this is only partially true when applying for an online job.

Instead, I recommend taking the time to customize your job application carefully for each job you’re applying for. I made a tool called the RFW Job Excelerator and I use it myself when applying for online work.

The tool will ask you to answer a career questionnaire. Then, it uses AI to create your resume and interview helper based on the job’s requirements. I recommend using it to create better targeted job applications to increase your chances of success.
